Harley Davidson® Brake Lines

That Don’t Flinch

GBrakes® Harley-Davidson® Brake Lines use DuPont™ PTFE inner cores wrapped in stainless braid with precision-machined fittings to kill line swell and lever mush. Each kit is cut to your bar height and routing (stock or ape), ABS-compatible, kink-free, and shipped pre-bled for a clean install. The result is a sharper lever feel, consistent pressure, and lifetime durability mile after mile.

Most riders don’t think about their brake lines until they fail. And on a Harley, failure doesn’t mean “lose a little feel.” It means lever to the bar, mush under pressure, and a system that just gave up. Stock rubber hoses can’t handle the heat, torque, and throttle that come standard with a V-Twin. GBrakes® builds Harley-Davidson® brake lines for riders who push real miles, carry real weight, and expect real response when they hit the lever. No rubber. No shortcuts. Just Made in the USA steel-braided performance lines that stay consistent under every mile of heat cycle, throttle, and terrain.

We cut every kit to match your actual bars, controls, and build, not a factory template. From ape hangers to dual-disc baggers, we deliver proper lengths, pressure-tested fittings, and hardware that installs clean with no guesswork. Whether you’re pulling a full touring load or carving canyon lines on a stripped-down Dyna, GBrakes® lines hold pressure and snap back without sponge or fade. They’re built to stop torque, last longer, and look good doing it, because if your brakes aren’t matching the rest of your Harley, you’re not done building.

These aren’t repurposed sport bike lines or rebadged rubber. GBrakes® Harley-Davidson® brake lines are purpose-built to meet the demands of American V-Twin bikes. That means engineered kits for heavy platforms, wide bars, touring loads, oversized calipers, and real road abuse.

Each brake line is assembled in the USA from high-grade components and spec’d for actual Harley fitment, not generic lengths, not “close enough,” and definitely not rubber. We test every hose for pressure consistency, heat stability, and lever feel under real-world loads, not just lab conditions.

DOT-Compliant Materials

Every GBrakes® line meets or exceeds FMVSS 106. Legal for the street. Reliable for the long haul.

Built for riders who know that Harley-Davidson® brake lines aren’t just an afterthought, they’re the difference between stopping hard and wishing you could. GBrakes® gets it right, because the rest of your bike already is.

Fitment, Material, Routing, and Real-World Power

OEM Harley brake lines are built for one thing: mass production. Not performance. Not customization. Not pressure retention under 30-minute canyon descents. Here’s what stock lines do wrong:

Why Stock Harley Lines Fall Short

  • Rubber expands under heat. Fluid gets hot, and the line stretches. You lose lever feel.
  • They degrade over time. Moisture, UV, and brake fluid eventually break down the core.
  • They’re not spec’d for upgrades. Change bars, forks, or brakes? That stock line’s now wrong.
If you’ve swapped your front end or added taller bars, your line may already be rubbing, kinked, or pulling under full turn.

Steel-braided Harley brake lines solve all of this. They’re pressure-rated, heat-resistant, and custom-length matched to your setup.

Materials That Actually Work

The core of every Gbrakes® brake line starts with PTFE (Teflon) tubing. It’s chemically inert, heat-resistant, and doesn’t expand under pressure like rubber does.

We wrap that with a 304 stainless steel braid, which prevents flex and adds armor. It holds line shape, resists abrasion, and keeps pedal and lever feel sharp.

The ends? Stainless or zinc-plated steel banjo fittings, crimped and sealed to DOT standards. No leaks. No corrosion. No drama.

Bonus: Each line is coated with a clear, non-yellowing outer sleeve. That means no scuffing paint, no exposed braid, and long-term durability—even in harsh sun or cold salt.

Fitment: One Size Fits Nothing

There’s no “standard” Harley. And there’s definitely no universal line setup that fits once you change anything up front. We account for:

  • Bar height and pullback
  • Riser extensions
  • Brake caliper positioning
  • Fork rake and front-end geometry
  • Rear caliper bracket positioning
  • ABS (Anti-lock Braking System) or non-ABS setups
You measure—we cut. Every brake line kit is built to the mm, with fitting angles that actually route clean. No guessing. No 10″ line trying to cover 11.5″. No tight bends that bind when you turn full lock.

Brake Line Kit Types

We offer multiple Harley-specific configurations:

Front Brake Line Kits

  • Single-disc and dual-disc front setups
  • Includes T or crossover junction blocks if needed
  • Clean routing for ape hangers or T-bar setups

Rear Brake Lines

  • Often overlooked but critical especially if your rear is doing serious braking on baggers or loaded setups
  • Heat-resistant routing, abrasion-proof sheathing

Full Kits (Front + Rear)

  • Complete system upgrades
  • Perfect for full rebuilds, brake swaps, or upgraded master cylinder setups

ABS Compatible Lines

  • Designed for Harley’s specific ABS harness geometry
  • No splicing, no warning lights, no weird lever feel
Every kit ships with crush washers, banjo bolts (if needed), and instructions to bleed and test. We don’t leave you guessing.
