Motorcycle Brake Pads
GBrakes® Motorcycle Brake Pads are designed as precision direct-fit replacements for OEM pads, delivering stronger initial bite, improved heat management, and dependable long-term performance. Offered in sintered, ceramic, and organic compounds, each pad is engineered for consistent feel, strong stopping power, and resistance to brake fade across V-Twin, Sport, and Dirt motorcycles. Built using the advanced NUCAP NRS® retention system, the friction material is mechanically bonded to the backing plate for added durability and safety under extreme braking conditions. Choose the compound that matches your riding style and find the perfect fit for your bike.

Pad Compounds, Performance, and What to Look For
Choosing the right option means understanding how compounds behave under heat, pressure, and speed. Ours aren’t just friction blocks are your first line of control. Choosing wrong affects bite, fade resistance, noise, feel, and rotor longevity.
Sintered Brake Pads (Metallic Compound)
Sintered pads are made from powdered metal pressed and baked at high temperatures. The result is a high-friction pad that thrives under abuse. These pads handle heat better than anything else. They bite hard when hot, recover quickly between braking zones, and maintain performance when lighter compounds give up.
They’re ideal for:
- Sportbikes that stay in the powerband
- ADV (Adventure) motorcycles loaded with gear
- Heavy V-Twins with high torque and low engine braking
- Riders who stop late, often, and aggressively
Ceramic Brake Pads (Non-Metallic Compound)
Ceramic pads combine ceramic fibers with copper or carbon for a stable, smooth compound. They produce less dust, stay quiet, and offer more linear lever feel. Carbon/Ceramic Hybrid Pads – Engineered exclusively for professional racing applications.
They work well for:
- Street motorcycles
- Commuters
- Midweight bikes that aren’t pushed to extremes
Organic Brake Pads (Non-Asbestos Organic / NAO)
Organic pads are made with resin-bonded natural and synthetic fibers. They’re quiet, easy on rotors, and cheap to replace. That said, they’re not built for heat. Glazing, fading, and accelerated wear are common if pushed too hard.
Use these only if:
- You’re on a lightweight motorcycle or scooter
- Your braking is gentle and speeds stay low
- You’re aware of their performance limits
For aggressive riding or repeated hard stops, skip organic. You’ll chew through them and compromise stopping power.
